Baked lemon donuts topped with a sweet lemon glaze.

Ingredients
For the donuts
1Cupflour
1tspbaking powder
1/4tspbaking soda
2TBSmelted butter
1egg
1/3Cumilk
1/4cupsour cream
1tspvanilla
1TBSlemon juice
Glaze
2TBSunsalted buttermelted
1cupconfectioners sugar
2TBSmilk
1TBSlemon juice
1/2tspvanilla extract
for garnish
Freeze dried fruit of your choicecrushed into powder
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F. Spray a donut pan with baking spray.
For the donuts, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder. In a separate bowl, whisk together melted butter, vanilla, egg, sugar, milk, lemon juice and sour cream.
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
Pipe the batter evenly between 6 donut molds, about 2/3 full. It is easiest if you put the batter in a ziplock bag and cut the corner off.
Bake for 10 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Let cool before removing from molds.
For the glaze, whisk all ingredients together until smooth. Add more milk if consistency is too thick. Once donuts are cool, dip them into the glaze and sprinkle with the powdered fruit. Garnish with fresh fruit if desired.
Notes
We used pre-packaged lemon juice, however you could also use fresh if desired!
